Assistant Store Manager /

OVERVIEW

The Assistant Store Manager position at Shop Good is a leadership role focused on driving the operational, sales and personnel success at the store level. This role is multifaceted. It relies on daily in-store oversight and is responsible for ensuring our store runs effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate for this position thrives off of leading and inspiring others, loves servicing customers, is a clear written and verbal communicator, an avid and confident troubleshooter, is incredibly detail oriented and is passionate about beauty, skincare and self care. We ask that applicants come with some experience in leading others, customer service and experience working in a retail setting. This role works closely with and directly reports into our General Manager.


This role is a full time hourly position, eligible for health care benefits, 401k program, generous employee discount and other brand perks. The position requires weekend availability.

PREREQUISITES

Must have previous experience in people management and customer service.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

-Manages and oversees daily in-store operations including maintaining exceptional in-store experience, store cleanliness, staffing, troubleshooting, customer service, meeting and exceeding daily sales targets and more

-Maintains and upholds internal and external brand culture

-Owns sales team employee management including professional development, scheduling, goal setting, live feedback, training support, team camaraderie and more

-Provides financial performance insights including product selling, inventory management and sales trends to the General Manager and is able to make strong recommendations in order to drive business results
