In a world where we treat symptoms instead of root causes, Filterbaby founder, Xin Shui, sought a better way. After treating over 10,000 patients, many of whom had hair and skin issues, she knew the importance of addressing root causes.

Xin personally suffered from very dry and sensitive skin. When she moved to a new home, she noticed a significant correlation between the quality of tap water and her skin condition. Her sister and cofounder, Lynn experienced the same issue after moving to New York City. After conducting a deep dive, they discovered widespread exposure to pollutants, chemicals, and micro-contaminants in the tap water system. They knew they had to do something about it, and after years of dedicated research and experimentation, Filterbaby was born.
