In the early days of building Shop Good, running on fumes felt like part of the job description. I could stretch a few hours of sleep and a missed meal farther than I should have – convincing myself that self-care was something I would get to “eventually,” and that exhaustion was simply the price of building something meaningful. But now, as a mom of two, quickly approaching 40, and continuing to grow my business, I’ve had to completely recalibrate how I think about my energy, my time, and my health. I’ve learned self-care isn’t something I squeeze in when I can — it’s a non-negotiable for showing up with clarity, capacity, and calm, both at home and at work.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I’m sharing a few of the products that are genuinely supporting me right now — especially on the longest days, or when I need a moment to recenter. Whether you’re a mom, a caregiver, or simply someone who tends to put others first, I hope this list sparks some inspiration for how to care for yourself — or to thoughtfully support the mother-figures in your life with something truly nourishing.

1 / 14th Night Shampoo + Conditioner

A clean, nourishing hair reset that doesn’t feel like a chore — and I actually look forward to washing my hair. These formulas are packed with rich oils that leave my scalp balanced and my hair noticeably softer, shinier, and thicker.

2 / Dhara Therapeutics Electrolyte + Collagen Powder

A real MVP (not just because it shares my daughter’s middle name). I stir this powder into my water mid-morning and it keeps me hydrated and steady through long days. I love that it supports joints, skin, and gut health — and I’m so inspired by the founder’s thoughtfulness and expertise.

3 / Botnia Essential Enzymes

My daily go-to for gentle exfoliation and hormonal skin support. It clears away dullness, boosts glow, and keeps breakouts in check — all without stripping. It’s one of the few products I’ve never rotated out.

4 / Liis Rose Struck Perfume

For the days I need a little more polish or softness. It’s fresh yet complex — and makes me feel instantly more put together, even in leggings and dry shampoo.

5 / Theraface Depuffing Wand

Spa results, no appointment needed. This wand instantly cools and soothes, visibly
de-puffing tired eyes and relieving tension — perfect for mornings after a rough night
or one too many bedtime negotiations.

Whether you’re caring for yourself or celebrating the women who hold so much for everyone else, I hope this list inspires you to gift with intention & to carve out even a small moment of ritual. You can explore more Mother’s Day picks below.
