Self Care Recipes for Fall Vibes

When it comes to our favorite self care rituals, cooking tops the list. Why? Food is fuel to keep us energized and moving through the day, and often times, unhealthy options can make us feel worse. Cooking can offer many therapeutic benefits, like creating mindfulness, engaging our senses, stimulating our brain, and even using it as a creative outlet.

These recipes will get you in the spirit for cooler temps (the transition of seasons is upon us!) all while incorporating special moments of self care throughout your day.

Let’s explore some of our fave fall flavors… shall we?

MORNING:

Mindful mornings are always important, but there’s something extra special about them when the temps begin to cool off and the air is crisp! Starting your day off with a nourishing latte can give you time to ease into your day before diving into work and emails, and make sure you feel energized + ready for the day ahead.

-Place 2 tsp. Golde Matcha Turmeric Blend in a cup
-Heat 1 cup water and 1 cup oat milk (or milk of choice) over stovetop. Take it off the heat before it comes to a boil
-Pour liquid over the powder and mix well.

Simple, but oh so nourishing!

MIDDAY:

For lunch, we want to choose something that will keep us concentrated through the afternoon. Smoothies are a great lunch go-to, as they can pack in a lot of vitamins & nutrients! If you love pumpkin like we do then you’ll definitely appreciate this recipe. Pumpkin is known for many different health benefits including being packed with beta carotene which protects our skin from the inside out. If you have any puree leftover it’s fun to throw in a face mask for some gentle exfoliation as well!

Add the below ingredients to your blender:
– 1/2 cup oat milk (or milk of choice)
– 2 tsp. Pumpkin pie spice
– 1 scoop Moon Juice Collagen Protect
– 3 cubes frozen pumpkin purée (freeze it in silicone ice cube tray)
– 1 banana
– 1 tbsp. almond butter
– Blend together and top with granola.

Okay… this really gives us all the fall feels!

EVENING:

After a long day it’s so important to refuel our body and give it the proper nourishment it needs to carry on through the week! This Fall Kale Salad can be tweaked to your liking, adding in whatever fruits or veggies you have on hand.
